Ed is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Missouri, a Professional Member of the ACA, the AAMFT, and the ICEEFT, working with couples, men, women, families, and teens as one with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). His counseling experience includes issues related to couples (including pre-marital), anger, sexual addictions (including pornography) attachment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, bi-polar disorder, and ministry issues. His approach to counseling theory flows from the confluence of evidence-based clinical theories and with Biblical wisdom. Licensed as a Presbyterian minister, Ed has over fifteen years experience in church ministry, much of which involved counseling. His clinical training included supervision under the Boston Christian Counseling Center and Crossroads Counseling in St. Louis. He completed his MA in Counseling and Masters of Divinity at Covenant Theological Seminary in 2000. He also holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa and a BFA in Painting from the University of Kansas. Ed and Margaret have been married since 1993 and have three adult children.

Margaret Killeen

Margaret Killeen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals, couples and families. She is interested in helping her clients to form meaningful relationships and for couples to build deep and lasting marriages. She counts it a privilege to enter into difficult conversations and collaborate with clients. She enjoys partnering with single parents and families on parenting issues, particularly the effects of divorce, anxiety and ADHD in children and adolescents. Having grown up overseas, she has a particular interest in working with those from other cultures, particularly interracial and intercultural marriages and third culture issues.
She specializes in the practice of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), having received advanced training through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
Margaret received her education from Vanderbilt University, the University of Kansas and Covenant Theological Seminary. In this combination of training, she recognizes that we are whole people; body, mind and spirit and welcomes the integration of faith and spiritual practice. She is a frequent guest lecturer on topics of parenting, anxiety and relationships.
Margaret also collaborates with her husband Ed in marriage co-counseling and speaking engagements, upon request. They have been married for 28 years and have three young adult children together.

Jamie McCall

Jamie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received his Masters in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary. He has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Before pursuing a counseling career, Jamie worked as a plumber, but decided he preferred working with people. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Family Studies in addition to three years experience working with children in school care settings. His counseling experience includes working with children, adolescents, couples, and individuals dealing with grief, shame, anger, depression, emotional vocabulary development, and relational conflict. His interests include working with children and adolescents, and couples facing struggles or simply desiring to grow closer. He has a heart for helping others to understand how much God cares for them and what He has done for them, and is passionate about working with people of all beliefs.

Allie Masters (née Brookens)

Allie Masters is a PLPC and Masters of Counseling graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary. She has advanced training in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), a theory utilizing attachment science. She applies this theory to work with teens, adults, and couples. She values the opportunity to hear each person’s formative story, helping them feel seen and understood, and to help navigate whatever “stuckness” they find themselves in. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and from the belief that meaningful growth happens when people feel truly understood and supported. Her areas of interest include identity formation, seasons of change, loneliness, anxiety, depression, spirituality and relational struggles, especially between couples and adult or teen children and their parents. Justin Dodd

Justin Dodd is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Missouri (License #: 2026012308), specializing in Emotionally Focused Therapy, the leading evidence-based model for couples counseling. Justin has extensive experience aiding couples navigating communication difficulties surrounding anger, grief, anxiety, and betrayals of various kinds in relationships. He also loves helping veterans and first responders find words in individual counseling to better understand their own experiences and better seek support from their loved ones.
He is honored to enter into the often heavy moments of marriage counseling and individual counseling work. Many individuals and couples come to Justin feeling very stuck or hopeless. Justin is keenly interested in helping clients learn how protective patterns have historically served them well and where those same patterns may create blocks for the very relationships they hope to strengthen. He is a firm believer that emotions hold important keys to connection and that better understanding of emotional tendencies in ourselves and others are cornerstones of relational flourishing.
Along with his counseling work, Justin serves in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis teaching a variety of psychology courses. Shelly Simpson

Shelly Simpson is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary. Originally from Colombia, South America, she earned a B.S. in Psychology and obtained her Colombian counseling license before moving to the U.S. In Colombia, Shelly worked closely with children diagnosed with cancer and their families, as well as with children facing learning challenges. Since relocating to the U.S., she has held various roles supporting children and families in diverse educational settings, including developing and implementing a social-emotional curriculum to enhance children’s emotional well-being and interpersonal skills. Shelly has received advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) and works with individuals across all ages, as well as with couples. She specializes in helping clients navigate grief, anxiety, and relationship struggles, providing a compassionate and supportive space for healing and growth. When working with children, Shelly’s framework integrates the theories of Attachment and Family Systems, helping the clients and their families build stronger, more secure relationships. Married since 2008, Shelly and her husband have two wonderful children who keep them busy and engaged. Michael is a counseling intern completing his Master of Arts in Counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary. Married and raising four children, he previously earned a BA in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute and an MA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Covenant Seminary.
Michael is interested in working with adults and couples facing relational difficulties, divorce and post-divorce adjustment, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety and depression, spiritual questions and crises, and the effects of early family experiences. As a military veteran, he brings a personal understanding of some of the unique challenges veterans and their families may face. Additionally, previous pastoral ministry experience also informs his ability to engage thoughtfully with the spiritual dimensions of clients’ lives when desired.
Michael believes that people and their behavioral and relational patterns make sense within the context of a person’s story and relationships, and that meaningful change is possible even in long-standing struggles.
